even if they both are Christian denominations.

Not at all. In fact, it was my time as a Baptist that convinced me to investigate my current church.

At the closing prayer of our summer bible study, it was the usual:
"Lord, please bless so and so as they recover from illness, so and so as they serve their mission, bless us with safe travel to our homes, and please strengthen Candi to fight the pull of the Mormons. In Jesus' name, Amen"
Wait...what?
I looked up before he said Amen. What's a Mormon?
I asked my youth leader. He said, "they're a cult that pretends to be Christian.". I pressed for details. So, he waited until all of the other teens were gone and pulled me aside.
He then proceeded to tell me that they are all polygamists, full of pedophiles (including its' founder, John Smith :-P ), that they believe Jesus and Satan are brothers, that Jesus is not the son of God, and many other things.
That scared the crap out of me. I was literally creeped out by everyone that was Mormon and avoided them at first.

Once I understood what they really believed instead of the negative paraphrasing I'd heard, I put down my defenses and studied.
Now I am one.

Never. Christians are the #1 culprit when it comes to bashing other people's beliefs. Whether or not they're both Christian denominations doesn't matter. They'll both do it.

no way! if bashing is their cup of tea, then I don't need a religion. I can do it all by myself.

by the way, I never heard the Catholic Church bashing any religion or anyone, whoever say otherwise is a great LIAR.

Never if a religion is going to persecute others and be intolerant then i would not want to be part of them. That is not at all what Christ taught.

No I wouldn't. That is so not what God wants from us. I wouldn't want to belong to any religion. I follow Jesus Christ. Jesus is a personal relationship one of love, leadership and friendship. Religion is impersonal and demands following strict rules and doctrines which are impossible for us to do. Jesus came to forgive our sin, and to do what religion can not do. That is to be our best friend and to give us His church, which is made up of others who love Him, to love and encourage us.

That is all any religion is. No other view except your own is right, and you must discredit the other views. If you go to any religious gathering for a month straight, I guarantee you will here at least one out right attack against another view.

No, I wouldn't. In all my years of going to church, I have never heard another religion bashed.

I wouldn't join and if they are bashing each other they're not acting very Christian. Christian literally means Christlike and Jesus Christ wouldn't diss other people like that.
