i went thru that for a few years. it was awful it got to the point that i couldnt wear my hair in that wet curly look because u could see straight through to my scalp all over my head . i tried a lot of differnt hair growth oils and vitamins that worked while i was using them biotin with a b complex and amla hair oil being the most effective. but what stopped the probelm totally was when i got pregnant. im not suggesting u have a baby to stop ur hair loss but maybe it had something to do with my estrogen levels so maybe u could try a birth control pill or maybe some catsclaw (an herb). there are some herbs that women use during menopause to increase their estrogen production, look some up, just an idea

It could be from lack of iron in your system or stress. I have the same problem and it irritates me severely. I also blowdry and straighten my hair so that could be a huge part of it if you do the same. I have hard water where I live and that combined with the humidity, is stress on my hair. Try switching out shampoos and maybe drinking lots of water, also use a spray or conditioner that protects hair from sever heat or styling. Hope this helps out.

Are you underweight? That can cause hair loss. So can a hormonal imbalance, stress, vitamin deficiency, or other medical conditions. The best thing to do is see your doctor so you can rule out something serious and stop stressing about it--the stress of worrying about your hair could be causing it to fall out even more!

It is normal for hair to shed daily. Just make sure your are using a gentle shampoo and conditioner, take your vitamins and get plenty of exercise and water. Stress, poor nutrition, harsh hair products and breakage along with medical issues can cause hair loss.

your suppose to lose up to 100 hair's a day. also do you wear your hair in tight pony tail's or any tight style? try to keep your hair loose.

aslo check to see if your hair in snapping of in the middle of a stran or is it coming out at the root.

if in the middle of the stran you need vitamin's and/or your hair is very dry and you need a shampoo and conditioner that add's moisture.

if it's falling out at the root it could as mentioned by other's stress or you need vitamins.

good luck

I had the same problem...it was terrible.
It is most likely that you have an iron deficiency.
I finally told my mom and she told me to start taking an iron tablet everyday.
Within a week my hair completely stopped falling out.
Multivitamins work well too but iron tablets work best.

It could be a number of things.

Your shampoo'
conditioner
moouse
gel
genetics
any other chemicals you put in your hair

The same thing happened to me when I was using moouse and after I stopped the hair loss stopped too.

I hope that helped.
:]

I have the same problem, and I'm thinking it's stress. I'm always stressed out about something or other. It could also be the shampoo or conditioner you're using. Maybe switch?

it could be many things... it could be from stress, or just damage. if you straighten and blow dry your hair alot without using a thermal protection spray or gel, it will do that. my hair has the same problem and my hair stylist said it was from straightning and of all things brushing it to much. hope this helps!

Is your hair long? Mine falls out like crazy. I asked other girls with long hair... they say it falls out too. Some say it's birth control pills. Could be that your hair is too heavy.
