I have noticed that I have been wearing them for about a year with my company and everytime I take them off my head hurts and now its getting harder to see things far away.

your visoion may just be going. doubt it is the safety glasses.

Safety glasses can't make your eyesight bad.
Eyes can change at anytime, likely you now need glasses with prescription. See your eye doctor

i notice my vision improves when i'm walking out-side and getting plenty of oxigen. so maybe, your safety glasses are blocking air-flow to the eyes?
but more than that, i think emotional stress is harder on your vision than anything else.

have your eye-sight checked again by a doc, your number might 've changed.
