In the US the legal age to get anything as far as body mods on your own is 18 and most of the time you can't get tattoos before the age of 18 anyway.

here in the states that's 18. i does not advise you or your brother sneaking in the back of your mom's lower back for a tattoo for a 14 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous! the shop could additionally get in massive hassle. no minors even with parental consent and parent present. not only can they get upset but it also is a liability issue with the insurance.
not to mention in some states tattooing a minor can also be considered child abuse with or without parental consent
i'm not sure though about people that have been emancipated or wards of the court
it also is up to the artist's discretion whether or not you get tattooed

Ull have to wait till your 18.. But U can get a tattoo at age 16 Ull need to have ur mom or dad come with u to signature the application paper...
