Matthew10:32-33
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Proverbs 1:7 - "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."
............................ I shall praise God all the days of my life. The bible says "if the Lord is for me, who shall be against me?"
with that understanding alone and with the aforementioned verses no brother or sister in Christ Jesus should care what others think when they profess their love for Christ Jesus.
Praise His Holy Name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the sense of caring what others think, on one hand, we should not let what others think rule our actions and choices if we know we are doing what God has told us to. However, we cannot be cold or act superior or high minded towards others. Our mission is to spread the truth about Jesus being the Savior of mankind. If we act like we belong to an exclusive country club that is the only one that has it all right, people will take that to mean that not everyone can come as they are to Christ. We should be humble, loving, caring, and servants of Christ. I have personally known people with both attitudes and the humble ones are the Kingdom builders.

No, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of my commitment to serve the Lord. I know the comfort I feel in knowing that I have chosen to give my life to Christ. I learned that I had a hole in my heart in the shape of God and nothing else would fill that void. I also feel that the majority of people I come in contact with accept me because I'm a kind person and I am patient and I try to be helpful with everyone I meet. We lead by our example in this life; when you put out a positive vibe, people pick up on that. It's easy to please the amiable people in life; but if you can turn someone's heart who has been hardened...well, that's the gold standard...Sometimes that means you have to take some bad attitude and turn the other cheek. Some people make themselves difficult to like. Those are the ones I see as a challenge...

"Do you care about what others think if you reveal how much you truly love to serve God?
Does it matter what they think of you?"
I think this question is less about religion and more about laughing at a joke you don't think is funny just pacify another.
If you falsify yourself in any way you are betraying yourself and your integrity as a person. If you intentionaly shut up your religious feelings in a situation that calls for you to speak up then you are hurting yourself.
This question can get complicated because if you are a religious fanatic and you EXPECT others to conform to the behavior you think is appropriate (such as swearing) then you are reversing the question on the swearer and you should be asking yourself if you are overbearing and imposing with your beliefs.
You should not care and
I do not care what others think of my religion because my religion is not something I tape to my forehead asking for trouble.
I had long hair when I was a teen and people harassed me and called me names. Someone told me that I had to expect and be ready for reactions if I make a choice in life that people will find to be extreme. I did not understand it then but I do now. To ask this question must mean you are around those who would single you out for your beliefs. In that case you should be honest with yourself and if you choose to wear your personal beliefs on your sleeve be prepared for whatever comes attcha.

Well, it might. Alienating others or making them feel excluded because they do not share your views is pretty crummy. I've met a few people who delight in telling others that they're going to hell.
We all have freedom of religion here in the West, thank God, and belittling the cultures and religions of others is not what God is about. Respecting others is a gracious way of serving God with love and understanding.

Do I care about what others think if I reveal how much I truly love to serve God? Are you serious???
NO WAY! Because that's why I DO serve God... love for God is why I thought EVERYONE who serves Him, serves Him. What other reason is there?
Does it matter what people think of you?
No, not really... what really matters is what God thinks of you.

Yes and no! Good question. I use to be a rebel w/o a cause
then I became a rebel w/ a cause. Pretty much I already know what they think and the forecast is not good. Everybody is going to think something. It can't be avoided. You have to live your life and follow the promptings of your heart. None but the truly sincere and illumined of heart will know who you are and that will be obvious in your behavior not just words coming from your mouth or written on paper.

A little but not much. I'm trying to stop cussing and so far I haven't been doing it as much. I haven't lied in a long time either or stolen anything. I try to impress God as much as I can. The only sins I really commit now are cussing and not obeying my parents. Some people might think I'm weird because I don't cuss but I don't care what they think only what God and Jesus think. Our time in Earth is nothing compared to an eternity in Heaven or Hell.

Honestly I dont care what people think. But theres so many questions about god and existence and proof, how u live ur life etc, that the answers can go on and on. So I tend to avoid most of them unless they really hit close to home.

No
I've lost my family, my friends, and I'm surprised my dog still likes me.
And as odd it seems to the world, this has made me have peace beyond comprehension, for now I know what it is to be free indeed. I rejoice when He allows me to take part in His plan, no matter the cost.
