Depends. . .how smart are you, how good is your resume, how high is your gpa, what sized town are you going to work in and where and on and on. Wealthy is hard work. Learn everything you can and start reading about investing now. Don't spend everything you make and start saving with your first paycheck. Invest wisely and stay healthy and you'll get your dreams.

The MBA may get you in the door. But once you are in it will do nothing for you if you do not work you $$$ off. To be an investment banker you will start as grunt pull all nighters for several days until a deal gets done and do it all over again for the next deal, Investment bakers can make a lot of money but it is a tough life. Don't plan on being in control of your life. The deals control you. But if you have the burn Go for it!!!!

As all these folks said it depends on:

You're concentration - i.e. marketing, finance, accounting, ect
Where you got your degree - top 10 vs online
Your work experience
What type of role you take
You're interviewing skills & personality
The size of the firm
ect

Just for your info - I went to a top 10 school, and the average accepted salary is around 90-100k, plus bonuses.

that depends on where you live and if you are getting an MBA to be wealthy that is the wrong reason. if you are good at what you do you will do just fine, getting wealthy is about managing your money as well as making it.

good luck
