"Any mundane activity can become meditative. Digging a hole in the garden, planting new roses in the garden — you can do it with such tremendous love and compassion, you can do it with the hands of a buddha. There is no contradiction ... I say unto you, your every act should be a ceremony. If you can bring your consciousness, your awareness, your intelligence to the act, if you can be spontaneous, then there is no need for any other religion: life itself will be the religion"

Read up about being a buddhist, which style of buddhism, Indian, Tibetan, Korean, Chinese, Japanese.
There are no prayers more meditation and inner reflection depending which path you take.
There is a lot more commitment then maybe you realise.
Some buddhists will indeed be Vegan, that means no eggs or dairy, anything that is a by product of animal milk.
They will give up alcohol. Abstain from sex. Shave their heads. Give up all wordly posessions.
Zen buddhism which is the Japanese version is most appealing to westerners because it is not quite as full on.
So before you announce you are going to be buddhist I say you have about 10 years of study before your ready, you do not just wake up one morning and decide to be buddhist.
It is more a philosophy on a spiritual way to lead your life than a religion.
SAMSARA is a movie you may want to watch but depending on your level of understanding it may go over your head.
