If I would have to guess I would think it has some spanish background now whether that is Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rican,etc... I don't know but its sounds like it is one of those. Hope this puts you on the right track.

it's latin...there's a baseball player named carlos delgado...he's from puerto rico, so it's south american
