August is over 500 already.
US troops killed in July were 78-38 more than last July
Almost 5 million have have fled away from their homes and the number continues to increase and many leave to Syria a supposed US enemy.
70% do not have running water.
As reported in the NY times GOP candidates will stay in Iraq if elected.
Republicans have lost
Unfortunately Democrats are equally incompetent.
Does not say much for American government.

There was no 'SURGE' July of last year.

You are lying.
The NY Times has the number of Iraqis in Syria
at 1.2 million.
Stop lying in your posts.
2 million Iraqis are living in refugee camps in Iraq far from there homes.
The number is not inflated.
It was 4.2 million in May almost 5 million today.
You have NO references.

GOP does not want to see genocide?
Really?
So they don't mind it happening in Iraqs neighborhood in Sudan?
I guess the GOP are hypocrites then?
Seems like it.

The water pumps aren't pumping, but the OIL pumps are.

Bush has the electricity and water both turned off, there are checkpoints every 300 yards, all the young men have been captured and imprisioned, now he has the people left killing each other, but he's building huge airfields and military bases and the worlds largest embassy, and he's calling everybody in every country near there, except Israel, an enemy, and no Iraqi has fired shot one on US soil yet.

What's wrong with this picture? Is this a new sport, extreme trespassing, or what?

Yes, obviously. The main thing they're ignoring (some simply lying outright) is that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and would not have a single thing to do with the War on Terror had we not invaded.

We turned that place in a terrorist playground and by doing so forced it into being a part of the War on Terror.

That's the one truth that almost everyone in the GOP consistently ignore or blatantly lie about more than anything

Great stats, but heres some more for you.

Fewer Iraqies killed this July then last.
Fewest US troops killed since June, at that is with major combat operations ongoing
Actually that number is inflated, they haven't fled to Syria but just about everywhere but Syria.
GOP candidates don't want to see genocide.
Good point on Dems
To true.

With people like you, we will never win another war again.

Incase if you didn't see it but the NY Times did have an article entitled "A War we might just Win". Yes, the NY Times actually published that. It was done by members of the Brookings Institue, a liberal leaning institution. So instead of bashing GOPs for Iraq, you should look at your own candidates who are calling to invade one of our allies (pakistan, who are about to have their own civil war and if thier pro-american government is taken out then radical islamists have nukes, thanks Obama).

As much as possible...They'll avoid the issue and respond indirectly if cornered. Their tenure in Washington has about ended for a very long time. President Bush has sunk his own ship unless the Democrats really goof up. You're exactly right that this doesn't say much for American government and that means it doesn't say much for Americans who are so gullible and filled with indignation and revenge that they elect such licentious and despicable candidates to office and haven't the guts to step away from the traditional two party failed system for a new alternative. The Democrates are just as stuck and filled with fear of change as the Repugnants. When you strip away their facade they're both feeding at the same corporate trough.

Poloticians are right now catering to their people Democrats to the Libs and the republicans to the Conservative. They know what the issues are unfortunatly America's largest problem will never be addressed which is people who believe the BS the Media puts out.

I don't agree with you but that's OK!

The Republicans are deeply entrenched in corporate welfare and oil! And they are committed to staying in Iraq to protect our "ASSETS"!

The Dems are committed to getting out, but they do not have enough votes to override a veto! They will in 2009!

I agree that the Dem's are often as bad as the Repubs. You have to keep your eye on them for they also tend to get caught up in wealth and business profits, at the expense of the people who voted for them. Business didn't!

You have to remember that our politicians are not America!

Tell us where you are from and perhaps we could give you some advice on your government!

It has bypassed ignoring truth, and grown into full fiction.

The sand however, only speaks of the blood soaked by futile efforts of the new world.

The republican strategy is to keep saying the US is winning no matter what happens. Past experience shows that eventually people will believe any lie they are told.
