If you believe they do, they do.
Same with humans. Whatever you want to believe.
If it turns out your beliefs were wrong, it doesn't matter. You're dead, and won't know or care.

Humanity has passed through progressive stages, from mineral to its present form, but it has always remained distinct; possessing qualities that exceeded its current state. Humanity was created with latent spiritual abilities (e.g. association with the soul) that have now become manifest. From the first we have been under the care and guidance of God, possessing of a soul. While we have had many different physical forms, we have always been distinct from the various kindgoms of creation (such as that of the animal kindgom).

Well..as for going to heaven or hell...neither...their going in my belly!!

Don't know if evolutionists will say a "soul" is the result of evolution, but hey...when did we get concious thought? When did we decide it was better to build society.

Not sure if "when we came together to protect each other?" Because I keep seeing the beginning of 2001 in my mind....pick up the bone monkey...see how more affective it is to kill.

I think the creation story is more figurative than literal...for example I think when G-D said he made man "out of the dust" what was meant was that man was made from lower forms of life evolving. When Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they were given souls.

I believe that we had souls when we were born. Just because you believe in the evolution hypothesis doesn't mean we didn't have souls to begin with. I have to say that yes animals go to heaven cuz I saw a cloud open over the house when we buried most of our pets. We knew from then on they were in a better place. It just made sense.
God Bless!!!!!!

They do not have spirits, they exist only as physical beings. When they die, they completely die without judgment or regret. But they can be re-created for our enjoyment so you could not tell the difference, Fido will be Fido, and your favorite rosebush will be bushier still. But we go to Heaven not to enjoy more of Earth but something entirely different, the beatific vision.

We all just cross over and live until we decide we went to come back. Every thing has an energy. That is what I believe. I guess we won't know the real truth until we die. And when I die I am going to let someone know the truth.

Mankind developed souls when religion invented them. There are no plants or animals in heaven because God never thought of it.

All things were created spiritually before they were created physically. The spirit and body combined makes the soul. If man is the only thing with a spirit then how could the rocks have cried out for Christ? Or did Christ Lie? All spirit returns to God who created it.

Depends on your beliefs. My opinion: Yes, as all living things have souls and a presence on the higher planes of existence.
