Try "Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel. he can do a lot better job, and won't be restricted by 1,000 word limit.
Won't expect everyone to read it though....might have to many arguments to try to counter. After all...Lee Strobel, graduate of Princeton (so much for argument Christians aren't capable of higher thought), winner of the Pulitzer (so much for argument that he can't be at the top of a very challenging field), was an atheist who "set out to destroy arguments against Christianity."
Guess how the story ends

A little over 2000 years ago in an obscure backwater country of the world that was for the most part disliked by the authorities of the day a man lived that was even less well known than the country e lived in. You might think that his notoriety had something to do with the relationship of his mother to the religious leader of the day. His mother’s aunt was the high priests wife. In fact that might have been the reason he and his mother survived at all. After all she was considered a whore and he was a bastard in the eyes of most people. The fact that his mother named him God with us did not do much to help. Yet he survived.
His main followers were for the most part unknown and uneducated. Of course one was a tax man and one apparently was a doctor but otherwise none of them were noteworthy. How many doctors who lived 2000 years ago can you name? For that matter how many tax collectors can you name? What about fishermen? Yet this man became well known enough you even know the names of his main followers.
He even became important enough that the emperor of the known world at least claimed to accept and believe in him some 200 years after his _____. Of course Constantine probably accepted him because it was politically expedient at the time but even that seems very unlikely, unless something happened that was very unusual in His life.
On another note there is something in my personal life that convinces me that it is really true.

The Apostles who were eyewitnesses of Jesus "rise from the dead" and his ascension into heaven or "fly into the clouds" as you put it, docuemtned their observations of Jesus' life in the eyewitness historical documents called the New Testament. Jesus also told them that he would "return" one day.
Why should you blieve Jesus and the Apostles? Why not give these documents a good reading with an open heart and an open mind.

It is plain to see that you take your religion seriously. I'll introduce you to this God so you can worship intelligently & know who you're dealing with.
The God who made the world and everything in it, this Master of sky and land, doesn't live in custom-made shrines or need the human race to run errands for him, as if he couldn't take care of himself. He makes the creatures; the creatures don't make him. Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him!
God may overlook your sarcasim as long as you don't know any better— But, the unknown is now known, and he's calling for a radical life-change. He has set a day when the entire human race will be judged and everything set right. And he has already appointed the judge, confirming him before everyone by raising him from the dead.
The message that points to Christ on the cross seems like sheer silliness to those hellbent on destruction, but for those on the way of salvation it makes perfect sense.
Why do you think Christians all around the world keep risking their necks? This is a dangerous world for Christians. Many look death in the face practically every day. Do you think they'd do this if they weren't convinced of their own resurrection--guaranteed by the resurrected messiah Jesus? Do you think they're just acting heroic?
If there is no resurrection, "We eat, drink and be merry"...and die the next day. That's all there would be to it. No meaning, no purpose. But don't fool yourself. Think straight. Awaken to the holiness of life. No more playing fast and loose with resurrection facts. Ignorance of God is a luxury you can't afford in times like these. Aren't you emb arrassed that you've let this kind of thing go on as long as you have?
Let me tell you something wonderfyul--a mystery I'll probably never fully understand. We're not all going to die--but we are all going to be changed. You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes--it's over. The resurrection of the dead when Jesus Christ returns to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Some of the people who have answered your question are dumb fools because they do not believe in Christ. But I do tell you this, the only path to God is Jesus Christ and the only way that you Jesus can help you and care for you is if you let him by exepting him and exepting that he came to die for us, he rose, and he is sitting at the right of the Father. Everything that the Bible tells you about Jesus is absoulutely true because he did rise from the dead because he is God. EXEPT HIM IN YOUR HEART BECAUSE HE IS COMING VERY, VERY SOON!!!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU BE SO BLIND IF YOUR SALVATION WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!!!! HE LOVES YOU ALOT!!!!!!So if you want to EXEPT him read the following prayer.
Jesus I realize that I am very sinful.
I realize that you came to earth to die for my sins, and that you rose from the dead, that you are at the right of the Father right now, and that your the only path to God. Nobody gets to the Father if not by you.
Please come into my heart and write my name in the book of life. I am sorry for what I have done. Please forgive me father.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

He invented the carry glider and have been given caught in a thermal boomer. He have been given sucked up right into an excellent 'cu nim, and we've not seen sight of him considering then. maximum meteorological theorists opine that he lost expertise at approximately 40,000 ft and died for a 2nd time. lines of his airplane have been stumbled on on the slopes of Mt. Ararat, yet they might in simple terms have been discarded tent poles by using early mountaineers.

Ok,no one can rise from the dead. No one can fly and if he did he would be wet. Like I said before no one can fly up or down. But he may be pushed from a cloud. And hero's can't fly unless in a plain. I hope that helps.

Yes.
No one can prove that He did not rise from the dead. The accounts of scripture prove His death with medical accuracy and after His resurrection, He appeared to over five-hundred witnesses. There are no contemporary writings to say otherwise.
No matter what anyone says, you are likely not looking for an answer, but to confirm what you refuse to believe.

Those scenes were written by an author who:
a) Did not witness the (imaginary) events being described.
b) Thought that the Earth was flat and heaven was directly above it
Thus it made sense to have Jesus flying up into the sky, into heaven, to return someday.
Today, we know better. Thanks, Gallileo.
