I love god if hes real and I am not sure he is. So I will sit back and wait.

Alright, I am getting sick and tired of this catholic vs Atheist quarrel.
People have been raised differently and value different things, believe and respect different ideas. The Dalai Lama once said *** '' no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness ''**
So, honestly, catholic, atheist, Jewish....WHO CARES?!!
Religion doesn't change the fact that someone can be genuine, honest to themselves, happy, intelligent, helpful, sociable and RESPECTFUL.
If you believe in God, Good! That's very good, I admire you because you know what you believe in, you know who you are BUT just because you think so- doesn't mean other people think your right, and it doesn't mean your right either. Keep your beliefs to yourself, inflicting your beliefs will do nothing but frustrate others. By forcing your beliefs, your prove to everyone how disrespectful, closed minded and selfish you are.

Maurice, please, be logical. If there are people who are of the opinion that God does not exist, they are not at all likely to "know" that the non-existent God loves or cares about them.
Do you believe that Santa Claus loves and cares about you?
No, because you know that Santa Claus does not exist.
It is the same with atheists and God. They are as certain of the non-existence of God as you are of the existence of God.
Really and truly, atheists don't believe that God exists. God, therefore, cannot love, or care for, or think about, or create, or tap-dance.
Think it through.

If you know that Zeus (substitute any other god you do not believe in) loves & cares about you then why do you not love & care about him?
It is kind of the same for me with any god.....

You really can't be that stupid, can you? They don't believe in God, and something that doesn't exist can't love you. Don't you understand what an atheist is? How would they know that God loves them? They don't even think he is real!

Okay... an atheist is someone who believes God doesn't exist. So, we don't "know that God loves and cares" about us, we know that there is no God. Get it now?

God is like the kid who has a crush on you. He loves you but you don't love him. Plus I think of God as a peeping tom. He can watch you in the shower. Creepy.
