You should have reported these incidents to the police as soon as they happened. The dog would be long gone by now due to court orders.

This dog could have been gotten rid of a long time ago if the authorities were called on the first incident. There is nothing much authorities can do if they attacks happened on your neighbors territory but something could have been done with attacks that happened on yours or any other persons property. These people are obviously not responsible dog owners, and are definitely not responsible Rottweiler owners. The Rott requires a dedicated owner. They need constant socialization, attention, and obedience training. They are known to be very protective and Territorial and must therefore be shown their boundaries. It is unfortunate that the neighbors actions or lack of actions may resort in euthanasia but it will be for the safety of everyone. Contact the authorities before this dog seriously hurts someone.

I don't understand how they still have the animal. If a dog has a history of killing or harming other animals and then bites a person the animal control should have taken possession of the dog until it is determined if the animal is to be considered vicious. If you got stitches from the animal bite, the doctor treating you should have called the police because it would have to be determined if the animal was current on it's shots. Call animal control I guess. better late than never. I hope you sued the owner of the dog for your medical bills and pain and suffering.

You cant personally but you should have reported these incidence to the police and also animal control because after all these things have occured I am sure that the owners would be either going to court and being fined or have the dog taken away. I would go ahead and call the animal control now and report all the things that have happend anyway that way there is always record of it.

I'm surprised they haven't been sued yet! You could easily get rid of the dog if you have proof that all of this happened. Just ask the people nicely to get rid of the rottweiler, and if they don't then you will sue them. I know for a fact that you will not lose because I'm sure you have bills of the stitches and the dog should not have gone on your property. The court shoul order the dog to be put to sleep. Good luck : )

First you need to contact the animal control to see what you or the animals control can do about this problem. It's seem to me one of theses day that 2 dogs gonna killed somebody or little kid walking down the street. Have you called the police to report all these accident, if not already, please do report to the local police of all the accident happen because of the dog.

Yes. You need to report the incidents to your local police department. Their homeowner's insurance will be canceled should they find out about the number of attacks. All major insurance companies have a "one bite" clause. That might be enough to make them think twice. I adore dogs - but this one is a menace to itself and to others. It obviously needs a larger environment and some obedience training. Hopefully they will do what is best for everyoe involved. A dog that is content and well trained does not behave this way.

Have you contacted the police about any of these incidents?
The owner of a dangerous, biting dog can be legally required to give up or euthanize his or her dog if reports are filed against him. In addition, if the dog is roaming around without a leash that IS illegal and the owner WILL get charged for it!

File police reports and contact the Animal Shelter. They will handle aggressive dogs, especially ones that have attacked so many times. Show them your bites also. Hope you are able to make the streets safe! So sorry about that!

Call the police or animal control. You may have to get proof that the dog has hurt you, your animals, or property. But if you can, they may be able to force them to give the dog up (depending on where you are) or be made to control him better. If nothing else, the owners are liable for any vet/medical bills incurred by you.
