There are several books written about the Miracles of the Holy Qu'ran and yesterday I saw one in the bookstore. Anyway, the Qu'ran described in details how a lightning forms, how does human babies grow in the uterus and proved that the earth was rounded. All that was1428 years ago. And did I mention that the Quran foretold that the Muslims will defeat the Byzantines.
Google it, you'll find more.
Hope it helped.

It is a miracle that anyone thinks any book written by a human being is miraculous.
A truly miraculous book would come straight from you know who. In you know who's own writing, which of course, we would all understand as it would be lucid, clear and unambiguous and multilingual. And the words would miraculously change into the vernacular of the times in which it is read so that it wouldn't need editing every 50 years to try to make sense of archaic language.

I'm still reading it but it is written in a very aggressive and fearfull manner so far. Clearly it is easily open to evil misintepretation as evidenced by the nature of the fragmented Islamic world. People are the root of sin but the Quran doesnt really provide a positive foundation from what I've read of it.... if all those Muslim's put all that effort into something better then I'd venture the world would be a much better place.

Miracles, by definition, do not "fit modern science."
At any rate, the koran is a fairy tail, just like the bible. Here's a little juicy fact about Mohammad (fleas be upon him): He married a six-year-old girl! He did wait until she was nine before he popped her cherry, so does that make it alright?

Well, in a way it's a "miraculous book".
Matthew 24:23 Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Modern Science has discovered that in the places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier divides the two seas so that each sea has its own temperature, salinity, and density. For example, Mediterranean sea water is warm, saline, and less dense, compared to Atlantic ocean water. When Mediterranean sea water enters the Atlantic over the Gibraltar sill, it moves several hundred kilometers into the Atlantic at a depth of about 1000 meters with its own warm, saline, and less dense characteristics. The Mediterranean water stabilizes at this depth.
“He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress.” (Quran 55:19-20)
“He is the one who has set free the two kinds of water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has made between them a barrier and a forbidding partition.” (Quran 25:53)

The Quran has very little original content to it, though some Muslim apologists try to stretch the ancient poetic imagery to the point where they claim it fits with modern science (such as the modern scientific idea that we grow from a clot of blood... oh, wait, we don't).
The Quran is just like the New Testament in that way; it takes older stories and stitches them together, trying to attach new significance to them.

there is no miracle in it, nor any other religious book. the fact that people try sooooo hard to involve mathematics and science in religion is just a bad attempt at legitimizing a cult formed by men with low self esteem thousands of years ago.
