I suggest you give them some time.
And after that time has passed and they don't forgive you, then they are the ones being immature and it seems the relationship isn't worth it.

After an apology you need to give the person time. Time to think and time to heal. Put yourself in thier shoes...would you easily just get over it and go back to the way things were?
Give him space and now that you have apologized let him come to you (call you or see you) when he is ready. Don't pressure him or else you'll push him away. Be patient and either way you'll get an answer.

you cant make someone forgive you....
sometimes it takes time(alot of time with some cases),it all depends on the situation....
nagging at someone, saying sorry all the time just makes the person get more frustrated sometimes....
you havent been really clear on your situation so obviously no one can give you a proper and more helpful answer....
maybe if you wrote your situation down and explain it to us,we'd be able to give you more help, until then i think your question will not be answer properly.........x

People can forgive without letting you close enough to hurt them again.
This person who you hurt has the right to protect themselves and heal on his or her own terms.
Own your wrong and yes, do give space and time, and if they request more, you may just have to stay back.
If you were the one in the wrong. You no longer own the ball and can make no demands.

I don't know your situation, but sometimes people need time to see you have changed instead of just hearing the simple words of "I'm sorry" come out of your mouth. Not to say they are simple for you - but they certainly are for some people. People say it all the time and don't mean it.

You can't make someone forgive you. Sometimes appologizing just doesn't fix it.
