Your name says it all.

Xanax can be a drug of abuse and you have a drug abuse history. A doctor could lose his license giving Xanax to a drug abuser.

ask you doctor, but I wouldn't switch to a benzodiaphamine like xanax. I OD on it. If you have horrible panic attacks, etc. than I could understand, but ALWAYS consult your doctor. Good luck. If the doctor says no again, it is because the benzo is too dangerous for someone like you...

Xanax is really for short-term use, in my opinion. It is just too addictive, and it loses effectiveness after a while.

Maybe you should try Atavan instead.

Just stop doping.Using is a lifestyle ,I used for 7 years and took zannies to go to sleep.Everybody I know loves zanny bars because it gets you high .Thats the same reason you want it.So don't lie to yourself about needing it.You want it cause its the stuff and your addicted.Your new DR is just smarter than the last and realizes what you really need.So if you want it bad enough go get it,but you really don't need it.
