I love dogs, but some people think that dogs are smelly, boring and dumb, why? Dogs Rule!

I'm still trying to figure that out as well.
For me, I love every dog ^.^ I don't find even that dog Sam (who one the ugliest dog contest) ugly.
Some people think they're smelly.. because, well.. sometimes they can be. Like when they're wet.. eew..
I don't know why some people think they're boring. Maybe they've had a lot of encounters with old and inactive dogs. I still find those dogs fun, though.
For people thinking dogs are dumb..
Haha. Well, humans are just ALOT smarter than dogs, and some humans who tend to be overly confident say that dogs are dumb..

If your mom didn't like them she wouldn't hang out with her. I think maybe you're misinterpreting everything. Sure, the kids thing would be annoying I would just hide my wii games. But maybe you should talk to your parents. Ask "Do you even like so and so?" If both actually say "no" then tell your parents to "set an example and be assertive" But if your mom says yes then just ask whether her friends kids have to come over with her.

Probably because they had a bad experience as a kid and provoked a dog into biting them and their family and everyone put the blame on the dog instead of them so now they hold a grudge.

Well, probably because they've only seen the worst of dogs. But most people who have been mauled by dogs HATE them. It's just a fear for them. I love dogs too, and wonder the same thing.

Well they probably had a bad experience with dogs at one point.
Some people just don't like pets all together, but i do agree dogs do RULE!

I know right. My mom is the same. everytime i bring up the conversation of getting a dog she says that they are very smelly and anoying. well it is kind of true. my sisters dog is super smelly and she takes a bath everyday. she also licks you everytime. i recomend you to ignore them.

I dont know. I love dogs too, so i wonder the same thing. but i think it might be because the've had bad experiences with them or something.
