You are only too old for a biopsy if you intend to refuse any treatment, no matter what is found.
The only way a suitable treatment can be decided on is through a biopsy.

You are never too old for a biopsy of any kind. Age comes into question when treatment is discussed.

You are never to old to get a breast biopsy. You don't even need a full anesthesia to get this done.

I don't feel you can ever be too old. If this question is about you and you are concerned about a lump in your breast, you should see your dr. Of course, if an old person finds a lump, it is a personal choice if they want to find out what it is or just live out the rest of their life. Everyones treatment descions are up to them. Good luck!

breast biopsy is pretty smple and not risky. if biopsy is needed it shoul be done, unless u r gonna die in 1-2 days
