It's the other way about. There are three main time zones in Australia, just like in the USA. Australian Eastern Standard Time is 10 hours ahead of UTC.

Depends which part of Australia:

Perth - GMT+8:00
Adelaide and Darwin - GMT+9:30
Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney - GMT+10:00
