Do guys really care about wether a girl is skinny or not? And do you prefer looks or personality?

I don't know many guys who would choose a chubby girl over a lean one. But of course personality is important. It's just better to have both. :-)

I, for one, do not particularly like skinny/scrawny women. I like a bit of muscle/flesh on the bones so there are some nice curves.
As for looks or personality ...... the best is a combination of both. If only one is possible .... I'll take personality, thank you. You see, beauty/looks are effected by the personality a great deal. A pretty woman or good looking man with a bad personality will never be anything but ugly. A rather unattractive person with a great personality can be very, very sexy and beautiful.

First off, anyone who tells you that they prefer personality over looks is full of it. It is the looks that allow you to learn about a persons personality. I have never been in a club and heard a guy say, "damn that girl looks like she has a helluva personality". It goes for girls too. You are attracted to the looks then you find out if they have brains, goals, a job, etc. The size part is up for grabs. Some guys love bigger girls, some guys like the tiny ones and some like them with a little meat on their bones but not a lot. If you are big and think you are going to win a guy over with a sparkling personality that is not going to happen unless he is attracted to you in the first place.

Guys don't care about skinny so much. Most guys like 'average' over skinny. And guys will take looks over personality(as a girl will likely have a bad personality no matter what).

I prefer personality over looks. I've been interested in girls who were bigger than average. The important thing to me is what she's like inside. That will usually make her appear more beautiful on the outside, anyway.

Well, skinny doesn't matter, but when a girl lets herself go she has to understand that it means the guy is going to overlook you when you're standing next to your cute friend.
In the long run personality is more important to the relationship, but gut level attraction is what makes guys walk over and say 'hi'

I prefer personality to looks and will take brains over "cuteness" any day. Looks fade with age, personality only gets better.

The idea is to find a chick with both but If I had to choose between chick with great looks/ no personality and No looks but great personality I'd choose the chick with looks.

ya we do care about an appearance to an extent, how ever, personality is number one, they cant be shallow or ne thing, though one has to take pride in ones appearance.
