When I was about 17 years old I noticed my boobs leaking a whitish substance, I told my mom and she took me to the doctor, who recommended me to an endocrinologist. the endo ran all sorts of tests..even had a head scan..mri..everything,their conclusion was that I had a tumor on my pituitary gland that was so small it wasnt noticeable in the scan and was told to come back months later to see if there was a change..i was prescribed dostinex to stop the leaking which worked.. sadly my bastard stepdad took me off his insurance so I was pretty much ******. I couldnt afford the medication for it was 350 dollars for every 8 pills.. i had to take 2ice a week. I nvr went back to the doctor because I couldnt afford it and never worked at a job long enough to get insurance so I dont know whats going on. I am now 22 years old and still with the leaking..do you think there could be anything really bad going on ? :o/ I need some advice. thank you.

My sister has the same problem - and the same type of tumor. While I do not know the specifics of your condition, she was told that she could be treated with antibiotics and that it was not a life threatening condition.

If you cannot afford health insurance, have you considered going to a clinic? Some women's health clinics also provide regular medical assistance - in that case you could get the antibiotics at a reduced rate.

Best of luck to you.

you don't need advice, you need to get a job with some decent insurance, or save your pennies and get yourself checked out again.
