i have no idea... a lot. i've learned that i no longer think in the terms i used to think about one unified church. i used to think we should work toward unity in the church, but through going to and exploring all these different churches, with all their different ways to worship, i've learned about the different ''levels of worship,'' even though i had never heard that term before a few days ago. i've learned that there are a million different ways to preach, and i think the pentecostal/ charismatic method is probably the most powerful overall. every denomination focuses on a different part of the gospel, and going to different churches has helped me to grow in my faith enormously. i've learned that a person can have the realization that God is methodical and become a methodist, or have a revelation about baptism and become a baptist, or find himself adhering to the apostolic creed and become a member of the apostolic church, but these are all just little pieces of the big picture. i used to have the view that while all churches were right to a degree, mine was the only one worth going to, but i was wrong. i've learned more through going to different churches than i could tell you on Y!A, and because of that, i'll continue to keep the lutheran church as a sort of ''home base'' while i continue to visit other churches. it has helped me tremendously to mature in my spirituality, after all, ''faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word.'' we might as well hear all of the gospel if we're going to hear any of it.

I haven't gone to a different church yet, but I have been looking into other churches. I currently attend a southern Baptist church, but in all honesty they kind of frighten me. Taking everything the Bible says literally, and they are so very close minded. At any rate I am thinking of attending a Methodist church, they seem to be much more open minded.

None....but I do believe in the studying of different religions. But I have no intentions of going to any churchs anytime soon. All I need is the great outdoors for my church.

I have been to five or six.... Catholic, Pentecost, I really don't keep track of the religion, just that I sense God in them all so far.
This is God's answer to my question a few years back in a chapel, not to join any, just go to them all, that He is there, and that I would learn more that way, to give my perspective and hear theirs.

2......I have learned the reason why smaller churches are more personal. I belong to a large church and no one knows when I am not there.

do you mean denominations? If so, I have only been to one denomination, The Roman Catholic Church. In terms of parishes, I have been to three different Roman Catholic parishes. The Catholic Church is truly "universal", as I have seen vietnamese, african-americans, hispanic, filipino, mid-easterners, europeans, and of course anlgo-americans in Catholic Churches.

None. I cherish the church I go to, which teaches the bible day in and day out.
