God doesn't have a suggestion box

God does have a 'suggestion box' ... it's called PRAYER. But God also gives us what HE thinks we need, not always what we are 'asking for' ... I had a friend who prayed to God to 'give him patience' because he had to deal with so many 'troublesome' people at work every day. Then, one morning, her realized that God was 'sending him' those troublesome people' to teach him patience. He got onto his knees and 'thanked God' for teaching him patience ... and from that day on, there were no 'truly troublesome people' at his job any more. TRUE STORY.

We take God to seriously...God is a comedian playing to an audience that is afraid to laugh.
I would ask the same thing that Carl Sagan asked.....If there were Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel. When Cain killed Abel, he went off and got married.......Exactly where did Mrs.Cain come from...Answer me that then we can talk about God

This may sound horrible but I would suggest that people who are deep into drug abuse not be able to have children while they are sick.
I work at a homeless shelter and the one thing that still irks me is seeing parents leave their kids unattended to go and get a fix.

False premise. God does not exist so it cannot have a suggestion box.
However, if I pretend that god exists and it has a suggestion box, I would suggest that the god definitively kills itself in a way which would leave no doubt that it was gone. Then there would be an end to the suffering and war caused by religion, and the world would be a better place.

Do something with New Zealand's legal system so that if some horrible-excuse-for-a-person is going to abuse a young child leading to that child's death, they don't get off with an 8 year jail sentence eligable for parole after 4 years!

Get a contract and write the book "Religion and Spirituality for Dummies." Sometimes I just need the facts, not a metaphor. :)
