What is the swimming distance and what are the times for men/women at various ages?

MrsJvb for us older folks swimming is easier on the joints and thus easier to get a good score. I realize it is beating the system but that is part of "The Adventure"

Command discretion. even if the facilities are available, the ONLY thing that MUST be offered is the run.

Something to keep in mind: unless you are a swimmer( as in daily) the swim part of the PRT can actually be harder to pass/get a decent score on than the run.

My husband is a navy diver and they are allowed to swim for PT and they have to swim for their PRT. It could be only because he's a diver. I don't know about the rest of the navy.
