3 best burgers in NYC:
1. Corner Bistro - cheap and sooooo delicious, a great selection of cheap beer, too; this place is consistently on the top of Best Burgers in NYC lists
Corner of w. 4th and Horatio St. (only a couple blocks from the 8th ave. L/ ACE stop)
2. Lucky Strike - A juicy burger held in between an english muffin, plus a really nice ambiance and crowd
3. Westville - homestyle, fresh burger served on a portugeuse muffin, also some of the best fries! Westville is a gem all around
2 locations - W. 4th st. between Bleeker and W. 10th st AND corner of Ave. A and E. 11th St.
I love me a goooooood burger!
fyi . . . Shake Shack was recently shut down for health code violations for a bit

My dad and brother swear by Shake Shack (Madison Ave. and 23rd), claiming the sauce to be the secret to its success. Personally, I don't care for mayonnaise-based sauces but I can certainly attest to the great quality of the burger. The line can be long, but as my father says, there's a good reason for that.
They especially rave about the Shack Burger and also said they were pleasantly surprised by the Shack Stack, which they weren't expecting to care for.
I can also safely recommend any of the concretes. Thick shakes with your choice of mix-ins.

JACKSON HOLE ...
You cant go wrong here they have so many burger selections and they are all fabulous. a bit on the pricy side HOWEVER if you take in consideration of what your getting its worth it. There other food is great as well. If traveling into Long Island your best bet is too go to CheeBurger Cheeburger yes spelt Right!

All American Burger at the corner of Hicksville and Merrick Roads in Massapequa. Great hand cut fries too.
