(First of i just wanted to say that I am not old enogh to acctualy join the army but heres my question) I was wondering if it is possible to just go through all the training of the army and all that good stuff but not acctualy have to go into combat or war? Could I just be there for the traning?

Well technically if you are a asset and are too valuable for the Army to lose then you will not go to war(you still may have to go to Iraq but want be in combat). I have been there and seen it.

If you go into the Army Reserve than you probably won't see combat and you will get good training.

There are fitness centers that offer a "Bootcamp" training. Or do you mean that you want to learn about drills and equipment and all that other fun stuff? Then no.
But then again, who says that your unit will be deployed?
