You can also use curling rods; these are flexible tubes that you roll your hair around & bend. Check your local Target, Walmart or drugstore for them.

When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, and put some curl cream or gel throughout. Take about inch wide sections at a time, and curl them around your finger. Pin it in place with a bobby pin. Let it air dry, or blow dry it on the lowest setting. When you take them out, they should be very curly. You can finger through it to loosen up the curls, if you prefer. I have found this is almost as good as using a curling iron, and much better for your hair, as you are avoiding the scorching heat of styling tools.

Use a curling iron. If you need help with the proper way to use one, just go into a local beauty salon and a stylist will show you. It's very simple and the result is absolutely gorgeous.

get a spiral perm at a salon. Or use very small long rollers. I have naturally long spiral curls and they are tight, believe me you dont want them.

you have to use a curling iron to curl it then finish with some Hairspray or a special gel to keep them in tact.

after that you should try this "John Frieda Frizz Ease 100% Shine Glossing Mist" you spray it over your curls to make them shiny and so they dont look frizzy and dried out.

If it's naturally curly then you could spray leave-in-conditioner, add mousse, and then scrunch it. Otherwise, grab a curling iron, and curl your hair, holding it parrallel to your face.
