Below is the story of my eyes and what happened with them and what I've been doing to help them up until now:

I first noticed it last Saturday (July 28). I woke up with two small wrinkles underneath my left eye, but both of them were itchy. I left for a swim championship, and my eyes continued to get itchier, now along with my face. On the way home from the meet, my mom suspected it was an allergic reaction, so we went to get Benadryl. (Note: I have never been allergic to anything or had an allergic reaction)

Throughtout the rest of the day, my eye started swelling and continued to itch. I went to bed, expecting it to be gone the next day.
When I woke up, (July 29) My whole eye was swollen shut! It was huge! Plus, my whole face and part of my neck had broken out in an ictchy rash. To add to matters, my right eye was begining to swell.
Please wait for the continuation of the story in Additional Deatails:

We headed to the ER, and I was perscribed steroids for the next three days. The next day, we went to my doctor becuase nothing had changed. She put me on something anti- inflamatory. (By this time poison-ivy like rash hadm broken out on several places on my body) She said not to scratch and sent us home.

Over the next few days, the swelling and redness of my face went down. By Friday, (August 2) everything was back to normal. But, itcy red patches (said to be severe poinon ivy by my second doctor visit)

Did you go to an opthamologist? if not, do so immediately' Hopefully it is an allergy of some kind but it could be something else .
& you shouldn't want to take that chance. So go to the Dr. & find out. Good luck

wow, that sounds like some kind of skin irritation or allergic reaction! sometimes certain allergies become apparent at different times! example: my cousin used 2 LOVE shellfish, but one day (out of nowhere) had a really bad reaction 2 it, and can't eat it anymore!!!! that sounds REALLY nasty and u should see a doctor RIGHT AWAY!!!
