I just quit going to a traditional school...and I am now taking classes online through the university of Wisconsin...alot of their colleges offer great online classes for REALLY reasonable prices...we're talking close to in-class prices. I took a 3 week truck driver training course, and now I'm trucking for a large over the road company and studying in my downtime from my laptop. It's SO liberating. I have been a nurse for 6 years, and got sick of all the crabby bosses and patients...and so I went back to school, and truck driving is SUCH an awesome choice for me. I've been to Wyoming, Georgia, and Florida...just this week so far! I make about $43,000 per year right now starting out. Give it a try! No more offices...that's for sure!

You sound uninspired. Read "Who Moved my Cheese". It will give you a kick in the but...at least for a day or 2 anyway.
Don't let others dictate your future...go out there and look for something else....especially since its paying you peanuts. Makes peanuts at a job you hate or peanuts at a job you love. At lease the peanuts will taste better at the later.

Read one of Barbara Sher's books. "I Could Do Anything If Only I Knew What It Was" might help you get some direction and inspiration. "Wishcraft" is also good but it's out of print so harder to find.

Change it. If your current employer is paying for your degree though he may want reimbursing for his costs so far.
