1. Jujitsu (most useful all-around martial art)
2. Ninjitsu (very deadly, involves weapons)
3. Sambo (usually taught for military combat only)
4. Judo (most practical martial art that's open to the public)
5. Muay Thai Kickboxing (most practical non-grappling martial art)

I don't like martial arts which are based on jumpind and round house kicks. If you want to learn how to break bricks then learn kung fu, but if you want to learn how to fight, then learn Juijitsu.

1) Aikido (the most underrated and misunderstood MA, yet it can be lethal!)

2) Hapkido (very similiar to Aikido, YET uses striking for offensive attacks much more)

3) BJJ (excellent style on the ground)

4) Boxing (quick hands can knock your *** out!)

5) Judo ( probably the best martial art for takedowns)
