Personally I like the name taylor better for a girl.
I know three girl Taylor's and only one guy taylor.

I've known boys & girls with the name. I think it's more of a guy name, but my bf is from Colorado and says hes never met a guy named Taylor, just girls. So i think it just depends where you are.

Apparently some girls are named Taylor, but I think it's better suited for a guy.
Laura : i think that taylor is more suited for a girl ive heard loads of girls called taylor and i think it sounds fine.

Its a girl name.....and I like it!!! The guys version should be Tyler. There is a really beautiful daytime soap lady on the bold and the beautiful.........with the beautiful name Taylor
