Psycology is more of a science.
However, I think it attempts some things
that are best done spiritually!

Psychology is a way of understanding the actions and thoughts of other people. To know the different complexes like the Apron complex(aka mama's boy) or the napoleon complex that says short people are often over powering to compensate for their shortness.
It's not a religion, it doesn't believe in a higher being. I do believe however that everyone should be taught it because then we wont have "Oh, Jimmy down the street just ate a dog...he is a sick sick man. He's always been a little weird but his family life was good." Because we would be able to tell the truth because of the actions of Jimmy's parents that caused him to be "messed up" by eating a dog...

Of course there is "such a thing" as psychology. But it deals with mind and emotions.
Religion's area is spirituality, supposedly. Whether or not you agree that any one religion does a good job helping people's spirituality, that's its reason to exist.
I think it's probably wrong to identify mind with spirit. They are 2 different things. They might overlap, but they're not the same thing.

Should Pyscology be a religion? Did you mean Psychology?
No - it should not, they don't reference the Bible, they don't quote the Bible, and it isn't a religious experience going to one.

The psychology is NOT a science. It lacks scientific
methodology.
It is a derivative of religious practices from the infamous past.
The use of abstract constructs such as subconscious and
many weired explanations to obvious processes deciphered
by neurology, they all put psychology between heavily dusted
religious folklore.
They have factions and heretics and they fight each other
feverishly, just like it's known from religions.
Also, they saved noone so far. Rather made their patients
objectively worse, despite them stating the contrary.
The psychologist builds castles in the clouds for their patients,
the psychiatrist charges rent payments from them.
