I like root beer although I don't drink much soda, as I used to though. I remember back in the Summer of 1977, I went on a picnic along with my uncle, aunt, my 3 cousins, my mom and my sister. On the way there stopped at a beverage warehouse store. My uncle brought cases of sodas, while at the park I picked up a can which I thought it was root beer, turns out to be sarsaparilla, which has a weird after taste.

I hate root beer with a passion. I tried to like it because my sister and father make it seem like the best in the world. I just can't get into it though, no matter how hard I try or what I mix it with.

I like it in root beer floats, but not by itself. I think it's much too sweet for my taste. I'm not fond of any kind of sodas. They're too fizzy and have too much phosphorus in them, which is bad for your bones. But if I'm really dying of thirst, I can get colas down -- either Coke or Pepsi -- I actually can't tell the difference. (Burp!)
