You could remember her by putting a personal object of hers near/on your altar. Her collar or favorite toy.
Providing you have an altar. Or you could get one of those "keepsake" boxes and put some of her things in it and put it on the wall.

It is such a loss to lose a loving and loved friend. My heart goes out to you.
When our Muffin died we were grief stricken. We put together an album of our pictures of her and wrote descriptions of her behavior and interesting things she had done in her short life. We even had a picture of her body at the end of the album. This was a very helpful activity for us as we were coping with the initial stages of our grief. In actual fact, we never look at the album or read the stories, it seems that we just remember her, so the function of the book was the making of it. Muffin died in 1987. I hope you will remember your cat's wonderful personality and the funny and sweet things she did.

Very sad day. I've had to do that a couple of times. I remember those dogs they were great friends truer than any human I've known and I often wish I had some really neat framed pics. That way they would still be with me in a way. My best wishes.

Well I'm not a pagan but my heart goes out to you. When Sammy my cat died (he was my favourite of all time). I planted a blossom tree at the end of the garden to remember him. Just an idea!

Wow U are so sweet, have her name engraved on a ring a stone or something maybe, if ya have a picture have it framed or get it repainted, I don't think you will need anything to remember her but a new cat would make ya feel better I bet.

Sorry about your cat SarahBear.
As said above, something that belonged to her, or reminds you of her.
For the future? I'm sure this will sound satanic to my christian friends but.........
When one of my wolves pass I take the body into nature, do ceremony, and leave it for the 'others' to feast. I track its carcass and when s/he has been 'cleaned' to the bones I select the bone that calls me and take it home.
With the essence of spirit in the bone I can use it, in honor of, for various things. Including visions from the 'properties' of a wolf.
Blessed Be

I suggest the best way to remember her is to find a picture of her, buy a candle, red of color becuase it represents love and passion. remember the day of her death, and every year on that day, light a burn the candle until it is gone, to show your undying love and passion for your animal. On the day of the new year, burn a candle, color of your choice to celebrate his/her rebirth to the Great Mother Gaia, and just keep her in your thoughts. You could also set up a little shrine just for her.
Blessed Be,
David

I had my cat cremated and her ashes are in a container with a beautiful head stone on the front. She has a place in my living room, her favorite place, surrounded by a Phoenix, a wooden cat and a crystal cat. In front of her box I have a large piece of amythist plus her box has a necklace placed on it of one of my dieties, Oya the African goddess. Make it whatever is significant for yourself and her personality.

Have your cat cremated and incorporate its residual ash in a cup and saucer set for your morning coffee (or milk?). You can have its picture in it too.
