I liked it with the side-by-side...
you didn't miss any of the race and the sponsors got their plug in. I also enjoyed Kyle Petty..he's knows NASCAR and he won't get dragged into a rumor or something he doesn't have the facts about.
I wish every race had the side-by-side...
Still miss Fox and DW
Boogity,Boogity,Boogity Let's go racin boys !!
Drive for 5
Free the 8
side-by-side rules !!!!!!

i actually liked the coverage during daytona... i mean the other way all you hear about is maybe the top 5 then they go to another comercial.. you get to see very little racing and atleast with the split screen you did see alot more racing in the field as well as the other teams who never run in the top 5 besides jr. actually got to get some tv time for their sponsors.. if it took up too much room on your tv for the split screen then buy a bigger tv..lol..i seem to be the only one who answered so far that liked it but then again i have been watching nascar for a long time and i remember the good ole days when we had alot more racing being shown and alot more personalities in the sport unlike now.. cookie cutter tracks for cookie cutter pr machine drivers...

After the last couple of races I'm thinking that TNT was doing better than ESPN.

I did not enjoy TNT's coverage at all. A large portion of the screen was covered for the entire race, and the commercials were terrible. I would prefer the side by side, or just regular commercials.

TNT's coverage wasn't bad. I thought they could have done a little better. As for ESPN and split screen, the reason that ESPN doesn't do it. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and alot of it.

TNT did a good job. Kyle Petty was very impressive as an analyst - he did a fantastic job. Can't wait to hear him in the booth after he is done racing for good.

I have no idea as to why Espn doesn't do that, but at Daytona all the commercials that were there were the sponsors.

It's not ESPN who won't do it,
It's NASCAR --they want their sponsors to get viewed in full.
