Companies can keep track of the websites their employees view. But do they have technology to read AIM messages?

While the technology exist, it doesn't mean that it is done. My employer has an optional service to build employee profiles based on their email and IM messages. What they are looking for in this case is content based on some keywords to see how many are say "Java" or "web service" related and I get a profile rank as a resource in the company.

Data travel across Internet in packets. Sniffing packets and reading header u can sort what kind of application did sent it, when, where and so on.... As an example Yahoo Messenger has a packet header starting with YMSG, so every packet can be captured then sequenced to make up the whole conversation.... If u sniiff packets between to big intercontinental routers... u can see who and where sent a message containing the word "bomb" as an example... lol. Every message that is not encrypted is visible.... ;) Hope it was helpful.....

adult men do! the single's that say they don't are probable lieing! My boyfriend admitted to stalking my profile familiar for 6 months earlier he even spoke to me! additionally, I stay with 3 guy roommates and that they do it each and every of the time, finding out the present photographs, present day 'likes' etc. not a lot of them might admit it nevertheless lol
