You have to weigh everything and then decide.
It's easy to be a christian and there's a lot going for it. Church is a great place to meet people, it's great for spirituality, and finding a place of peace in your life. It's a place where social gatherings occur so that you don't feel alone all the time.
I'm an Atheist, so I'm not trying to make you believe the way I do. I'm just saying that there are a lot of reasons belonging is nice. Balance that with what you believe, or think you can fake, and how you'll feel about living a lie, if you don't believe and then make the best choice for you.

That's ridiculous, and I'm sure you know so.
I'm a Christian, and I remain a Christian not because anyone has ever told me to, but because I have looked at the answers Christian apologists have to questions and I have found they hold up. You should base your beliefs based on research and logic. Any important beliefs that have to do with facts should be held by someone for that very reason. So why do people ask these questions to "score points" against Christianity?

No Christian I know is "telling" anyone to become Christian, nor is the Bible "telling" anyone to become Christian.
It is warning that no one can be saved from paying the penalty of their own sins against God without Jesus Christ. It is not compulsory, and if a person really wishes to take their chances and do whatever they like in life and assume there is no consequence for their sins against God then they are certainly given the opportunity to reject God's offer of forgiveness if that is their decision.
We pray that people accept Christ's offer of salvation, and if they do so they become Christians in faith. We do not have a quota...we are concerned for everyone, because no one can avoid judgment. All will be judged, and without Christ there is only one outcome for those who have to pay for their own sins.
I pray all of you who do not believe in God, or simply don't know either way...and anyone who does not have Christ, that you will all come to have faith in Him one day. It is a sincere desire I have, but I cannot force anyone to believe anything. I will not tell anyone to become a Christian, but I will certainly ask if they are interested in learning more, and I will pray that they open their hearts and minds to God.

Becoming a christian is your own choice, and NOT anothers...If you feel like you're being pressured into it, then maybe you should think as to why this is so! What you do is you're choice, NOT what your parents, friends, relatives WANT or expect from you...good luck with whatever it is you seek in the end!

No you shouldn't, you don't become a Christian unless you truely believe that Jesus died for your sins, and that he is the only one who can save you from your sin. If you believe anything else you aren't a Christian and therefore it shouldn't matter what someone want you to do.

You should be able to make your decisions yourself. Don't listen to what others say. I did not become a Christian til I was in my mid 30's which yes I was approached by that ?? in my teens. I chose to do what is right for myself. You can too. Although you can read the bible and go to church. You do not need to be baptised til you are ready.

No way! A relationship with God, whether Christian or not, is something you should find within your own heart!
Besides, a lot of folks that call themselves Christian have chosen to worship the Christ himself instead of living as his teachings.
When Christ said, "The only way to the father is by me" he wasn't asking people to form a religion to worship his image, he was saying that if you live a life like his, by his example, you will know God!
Sadly, too many folks who claim to be Christian are not living lifestyles that are truly in line with these enlightened teachings!
"There are two types of paths. Ones with heart and those without. For me, I can only choose the paths with heart."

no. You should become christian because christ died so you wouldnt have to go to hell.He loves you and made you in his perfect image. He loves more than anyone on this earth and he is your creator. Thats why yo should become a christian. Christianity isnt a religion...its a relationship with the one whom made you.
