Mold is a big deal. Expectally black mold. If you breath too much black mold into your loungs it will eventually kill you. You can use all the chemicals you want, but the mold will come back. You have to tear the wall down. Maybe you just have a leak in your house some where. If nothing gets better, I would move before some one gets deadly sick.

Take a look here: http://www.allergynursing.com/moldy/health_hazards.html
There are plenty of other sites highlighting the hazzards of molds in your home.
Just look up "mold health problems"
It can be very bad.
You really should gut the house and replace that wood but of course find the source. More than likely it is a slow leak somewhere.
There are some services that specialize in removal and replacement of molded wood. They wear HAZMAT suits because some of these molds can be very toxic.
The sooner you get this fixed, the better.
If you sell the house, you will take a huge hit on the price because you have to disclose that problem.
Best of luck with it.

Yes, mold can be a health problem, especially if someone in the household has compromised health (namely some sort of respiratory or autoimmune disorder). Everyone gets mold in their bathroom or damp places of a house. If it's only the bathroom and you can't keep it in check with mold disinfectants you might want to gut the bathroom and replace the walls and tiles and have a professional come in and check for leaks and mold and rot damage in the walls.

Mold can be a huge health risk...it usually results in respiratory symptoms. If you love your house, I think you can get the problem fixed. Research mold removal on the internet. You may have to hire a contractor to get the problem solved once and for all, but that will be cheaper than moving.

It depends on the type of mold you have. Some molds are more toxic than others. It is quite possible that it's the mold in your house that is causing you to feel ill as mold can cause allergies, asthma, headaches etc. to get worse. Mention it to your doctor and see what he/she recommends. There may be some product you haven't tried, or maybe some company who can remove the mold. In the meantime, maybe your doctor could give you something to make you feel better.
Hope this helps. :-)

Mold in houses can cause a multitude of health problems. I would suggest consulting an expert to remove it and also visit a doctor to talk about your symptoms.

no its not healthy and yes it is a huge health risk. yes it probably is in the walls and the only true way to get rid of the mold for good is to burn or buldoze the house down. ask your doctor

Black mold is the stuff you really have to watch out for. Regular mold can be a problem if it gets out of hand. Chest infections, coughing, that sorth of thing. You should be alright.
Go to a pool supply store and ask if they have any ideas.
