I'll be in Bodrum for three days in early September. Right now, I'm staying in Turgutreis, but I've been reading up on it, and am worried that it's just a sleepy fishing town. I thought about Turkbuku, but I was a little concerned about safety (I'm Asian and heard some things about discrimination).

I've chosen either Turgutreis, Bitez or Turkbuku based on where I can get really good hotel deals. Anyone have any thoughts on these towns in terms of things to do; ease of transportation to other places on the Bodrum peninsula and nightlife?

Hi,

Situated in the southwest in Turkiye, Bodrum is one of the most prominent tourism and entertainment centers of the world. Besides the city itself Bodrum has many attractive sites such as: Bodrum City, Gümbet, Bitez, Ortakent (Yahşi), Torba, Göltürkbükü, Gündoğan, Yalıçiftlik, Yalıkavak, Gümüşlük, Güvercinlik, Turgutreis...

Türkbükü is crowded and usually famous people are there so u can be sure about its safetly.

But if u ask me, stay at calm places like Turgutreis, Bitez etc.
