Almost any job you apply to today that says it requires a degree will do a quick & cheap full background check on you, which includes accessing the (International) educational records databases and checking your credit history.

If the job is with a company employing more than a dozen people, chances are close to 100% you will get caught out in a lie!

A better approach is to show evidence you have equivalent experience, which is more valuable to an employer anyway!

Employers are requiring verification of college degrees. Like a copy of your diploma or they call the school.

The company I worked for had several instances where the applicant lied about a college degree and got caught. The bad thing was that a degree was not required for the position and the applicants were experienced and highly qualified. They did not get hired because they lied about that degree they didn't even need.

You will get caught before you even sit down for your first day or work. Employers check every detail about you, especailly education. You are better to be honest than to be caught in a lie.

I had to bring a copy of my transcript and my dd214 they verify those things. If your going to lie about something which is wrong, your better off lying about job credentials.

Be careful. I had to bring my paperwork to the place I work at now to prove my credentials.
