Your defending 2006 Nextel Cup Champion, Jimmie Johnson. Don't let the haters EVER sway you and don't count him out from winning it again THIS year.

Is No.8 being boycotted in these answers? Fess up, Junior is the most popular driver in NASCAR for many reasons. He may not be winning many races this year but that is only part of popularity. No. 1 - He has the 'good ole boy' persona that typifies stock car racing all the way back to the moonshine runners of yesteryear. No. 2 - If things go wrong he takes the blame. No. 3 - He thinks racing is fun. No.4 - He has respect for all his competitors.

Kasey Kahne is my favorite.
Second is a tie between Jimmie J. and Denny Hamlin.

And youre right, it does take two 24's to get 48,
but does it take 2 Kasey Kahnes to get a J.J. Yeley?
I dont think so!
