I am wanting to camp as close to Reno Nv on 08/10/07 to 08/13/07.

If you want the outdoor thing more. Try the state park at Donner Lake just before the stateline in California.

Try Donner Lake state park in Truckee Ca. Nice park on the lake, not to far from Reno. Lots to do in the area. If you are interested in gambling and not shows you might try North Lake Tahoe NV with several smaller casinos instead of Reno.

5pm or 5 am will make a difference due to the traffic. If you are leaving at 5pm, you may be late by the time you park and get inside. But fear not, you won't be very late. Usually you can drive to Reno in less than 2 hours, depending on where you are going. But..Holiday Friday night traffic could give you trouble, so could work being done on the freeway.
