I have to have a surgery to have a cyst removed. Will the doctor let me keep it?

My Doctor let me keep my gallstones after surgery. I found them a few months ago, and they have crumbled into dusty fragments, so I tossed them in the trash. Your cyst might keep better if you have your doctor put it in a little bottle of alcohol for you.

Good luck!

Obviously no. Cause its a cyst. Its sort of like cancer.. but it's dangerous so they have to take it out lol
good luck and surgerys don't really hurt.

I doubt it. A cyst would rot. It isn't hard like a stone and you would have to keep it in formaldehyde which is very toxic and dangerous to have in your home.

most likely not. they have to dissect it to see if it is cancerous or not. why would you want to keep it? cyst usually really stink... kind of like a dead animal.

I doubt it - it will need to be biopsied and all that. I wanted to keep mine and the doctor said no. LOL

Only if you bring your own jar with formaldehyde in it.

Ew!
It depends- do they need to do tests on it? Ask your Doctor...they might. I was offered one of my moles once.
