I want a tattoo on the back of my left shoulder about 4"x3.5" of a Gargoyle in mainly blakc and white but hopefully some color. It will also have Made Of Stone written above it and a few dates written bellow it. Just trying to figure out about how much I should save up.

It's particularly going to depend on the element concerned, the situation to your frame, and the discipline wherein you reside (the marketplace). Many artists cost extra if it is on a intricate aspect of your frame similar to your part in which that is no bone underneath and it's going to harm like any get out. My modern is approximately the dimensions of a softball and used to be $250. Hope that is helping. Happy inking!

I just had one done in Dublin, and they charged about 100 bucks an hour (also 100 minimum) and mine only took about 40 minutes. Also, mine was smaller than what you're talking about. Your best bet is to choose your tattoo parlor, and find out from them what they would charge...I think every place is different.

Everywhere you go is going to cost different, pick a place to go and see if they can give you an estimate, some places will some places wont, where i go its 120 an hour and that sounds like it could take over an hour depending on how easy going you are with it and if they have to stop.

Everyone is right about the prices - but white ink is an accent, don't plan on using it as a main color.
