God is your creator. He gave you the power of free will. He put into your human nature the idea that love and compassion and justice and mercy are better than hate and indifference and injustice and contempt. He also put into your human nature the need for purpose for your life; a purpose that only He can fulfill.

The origin of the word God comes down to man wondering how the universe, and the outside of the universe was.
Meaning God was formed only because the inside (mind) could observer the outside (universe)and wonder in amazement.
Science is studying God right now, and some don't even realize it.

Who can explain God?
It is not for us to explain that which we can not understand or to understand that which is beyond our comprehension or to comprehend beyond that which is revealed to us through His word. We need only to be still and know that He is God.
Isa 55:6-9
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (KJV)
Job 26:13-14
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? (KJV)
Ecc 6:12
For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun? (KJV)
Psa 46:10-11
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. (KJV)
