I have not. My sisters and cousins keep telling me stories about seeing ghosts and hearing noises. I never experienced any such thing...

Victorian-era sightings were usually caused by the installation of gas into a house. Until the leaks were sorted, the residents would get auditory and visual hallucinations in certain parts of the house.

Today, it's electro-magnetic fields from our appliances and wiring. Maybe with all of the wireless and cell-phones going in we'll have another rage of hauntings.

I actually have near daily experience with this. Certain things give me the absolute sensation that something is standing just behind me, about two feet away, slightly above and over my right shoulder. It used to happen most often on the stairs. At present it's in the bathroom.

Neurophysiology is fascinating.

I have seen what may be considered a ghostish supernatural thingy.

I felt driven to go outside one night, and light a candle, when I lit this candle, a silhouette of a face appeared in the flame. I was frikkin freaked out! I threw the candle down and ran as fast as I could.

When I came back there was no more apparition.

Of course, I didn't know I was an atheist back then yet.

Nope. Never experienced anything like that, though I've heard some pretty convincing stories from some credible people.
And there's no such thing as supernatural. Just unexplained.

I was frightened by the "Bloody Mary" myth as a kid (say her name five times in the mirror with the lights out, and she'll appear and strangle you through the mirror). I kept imagining her face in the mirror every time I went past one, or I'd imagine her killing me. That fear is gone now...mostly. Sometimes I get a little panicked in the dark, but it rarely happens anymore. During these occasions I might see something that isn't there, and my heart rate will speed up and I'll get short of breath until I flick a light on.

Just like Paul said, I have experienced things I could not explain but I do not believe they were ghosts or anything else supernatural. Just creepy experiences that I have no way of explaining.

I have seen things questionable, whether or not ghosts I don't know.

I do believe in horrific events that are so heinous they have the ability to damage the energies on this planet. Think of it as a metaphysical scar. I think some events of ghost sightings and haunted places can be attributed to that.

I never have. I know people who claim to have had various experiences with the supernatural. I don't really have any firm beliefs on the subject, I don't discredit those who believe in it, but I'm waiting for some proof or a first hand experience before I become a "believer".

When I was driving tractor trailers over the road, I would see weird things at night, especially in the middle of no where. At the time I thought it was the super natural but now I realize it was just my over active mind combined with no sleep and extreme boredom.

None. If anyone had to have seen a ghost, it has to be me because I went out of my way to see one during a weird ghost hunting phase in my childhood. Yet, I don't have a single ghost story to tell my grand-kids. :(

I've seen things I couldn't explain, but no ghosts or supernatural thingies.

I believe what's going on is simply that I'm not so arrogant to believe that if I can't explain something, it must be magic. It's simply something that I can't explain.

Pangel, if you're arguing that ghosts really exist, I respectfully disagree. But you knew I would already.
(Peace, and thanks for being courteous even as we disagree).
