You cant help feeling how you feel. It is instinctive . But I urge you to try to not compare yourself or look sideways. Look straight ahead, planning your future. Right now that should involve academics. If you do well in high school, you will get into the best colleges. That way you will be superior and get a great job and meet the very best people. I hope you believe me when I say that even though your friend got asked out, it will mean nothing in the long scheme of things. Dating at your age, especially with one person exclusively, leads to problems, sucks up your time and emotions and rarely does good.
Getting asked out shouldnt be a priority with you. I know it is difficult since in high school everyone compares but no one sees the people from high school after they graduate and go their separate ways. So try to focus on your studies, being gracious and nice to all, not gossiping or being in a clique and just smile at everyone. You will be very successful, youll see. Best wishes

At least you are a strong person and you admitted you are jealous. A lot of girls won't admit that, they turn it into anger. You should sit back and just be happy for her. I know that'll be hard but in the long run you will get a guy and if she is your friend then you have friends. Why does someone have to make sure they have the most friends. Join a recreational sport out of school or in school then you'll definitely get a lot of friends but you gotta speak up. Get to know the other girls.

Try to focus on feeling happy for her as opposed to focusing on what you don't have (or think you don't have). You're time will come. There will probably be a time where you have a boyfriend and she doesn't. Just keep a positive attitude. You could probably tell your friend that you feel left out. Maybe she will be understanding if you say it in a nice way.

Instead of worrying about what your friend is into, who she is dating, how many friends she has, and how pretty she is, you need to focus on what you are doing. Instead of spending time envying your friend, you need to make your own breaks in life. Take the time to make yourself more attractive to other people.
Instead of being jealous of your friend, try observing what she is doing to be attractive to others. Try and emulate her best behaviors and traits. Copy her sense of style and the way she carry herself. If she is a true friend, ask her what she is doing to get all those people she is friends with and more attractive to the guys.

Your time will come....just be patient! Often it turns out that the people who are prettier/cuter/more popular early on in school, later become the most unpopular/least cute. Things will happen for you when the time is right!

Don't get to wrapped up in this because you are so young, and have a lot of time to blossom and learn. Plus, soon your gonna be sick of a bunch of guys hitting on you all the time and you'll be over it, so just have fun!

just find the one thing you're better than her at, and just concentrate on that thing when you're with her. yes there has to be something. even if it's something stupid and little. maybe you have a caring family? or maybe you're good at a videogame or subject or sport?? i know i'm the saame way. i don't kno whow to deal with it eithe.r i just think about how i'm better than her in math and she's better at pretty much everything else. just raise your confidence and self-esteem.i hope your friendship doesn't get ruined..best of luck. :]

definite, some do, especially while those different adult men subtly, or maybe brazenly, placed the rest down and cause them to experience insecure. I honestly have this take place to me sometime - i'm ok looking, much extra healthful, yet experience fairly insecure, especially if there are people who i discover captivating and there is harder opposition from different adult men.
