I'm surprised with all of the Robbie Gordon apologists. If you are a a true racing fan you should be disappointed or even angry at what happened on Saturday. Mr. Gordon didn't deserve to win or finish second. The reason why he was put back to thirteenth was because he failed to maintain a cautious speed and passed cars under yellow. NASCAR didn't even penalize him for blasting Marcos when he caught up to him under caution. What Mr. Gordon did on Saturday was dangerous and stupid. If he only sits out one race he got off lightly. Robbie apologists wait till your guy is treated unfairly so you truly justify your anger at NASCAR.

Robby Gordon is Robby Gordon and will do ANYTHING to win, no matter what or who tells him he is wrong. I feel both Nascar and Robby were wrong but 2 wrongs do not make a right situation. Robby should have listened to his Crew Chief and followed the rules. I think Robby should be banned for the next 6 races (both Busch and Nascar) and not allowed at the track plus fined $100,000 for being STUPID. This will hurt him and possibly teach him a valuable lesson. As everyone should know Watkins Glen is one of Robby's favorite tracks. Robby does not rule NASCAR and should serve the same penalty everyone else does. He disgraced the USA with his actions in CANANDA.

Wrong on both parties. Robby Gordon has a duty to abide by the rules of the governing body...NASCAR. Just like in any other sport, referees screw up sometimes, but that is a part of the human factor of the sporting events. Robby Gordon handled the situation like a 10 year old kid. Terrible display of sportsmanship. I am personally glad that they didn't allow him to participate at Pocono.

My thoughts are that NASCAR was at fault for ALLOWING this scenario to play out. First off, with fuel strategies to consider and confusion on where people should restart they should have red flagged the race and taken 5 or 10 minutes to sort it all out. I think they would have ended up putting Robby 2nd, behind Ambrose. Gordon would probably have STILL punted him but at least he wouldn't have been suspended from yesterday's cup race. He also would have won the race, Robby got screwed. NASCAR is rash to make decisions and spineless when it comes to the hard ones.

Robby got screwed by NASCAR. He should have won the race. His temper got the best of him and he spun Ambrose out on purpose and did not heed the black flag. I think NASCAR dropped the ball or none of this would have happened. It's funny that they said nothing about Harvick who caused the wreck that brought out the caution. Otherwise, Robby would have won outright. His outcome would have been better if he had just done what NASCAR asked and they would have no cause to suspend him for the Pocono race. I don't know how NASCAR missed this one so badly.

NASCAR screwed up bad. Robby handled it poorly and got suspended for that.

That was Robby having another one of his temper tantrums. His burnout at the end was pretty funny though.

for his actions taken when nascar had ordered him to do something (I do know Nascar was partially at fault) but his response was uncalled for
Its ridiculous, he should be banned from the sport permantly now...that was childish and uncalled for very detrimental to the sport Robby Gordon = NO CLASS and this is not the first time he has done something stupid

Also remember at Daytona he throws something on the track on the back stretch to cause a caution they need to do something about this cheating baby

So scott I guess you encourage this kind of behavior by a "professional" driver in a sport?

What a baby. For someone in a team all by himself he should know better. He's not making any money sitting at home. He should have listened to Nascar whether they were wrong or right.
