How did Muhammad test Gabriel to see that he was from God?

Ahmad I absolutely say this of the true prophets of God that were requried to agree with the word of God and the prophets of God. Muhammad's angel disagreed with the word of God and the prophets of God. The Bible says to try even an angel to see that it is in agreement with God's word.

Gal. 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Racro you prove my point Moses spoke directly to God not an angel...Jesus also was God but spoke wiht his Father in heaven who also anounced him before witnesses, The suposed angel that Muhamamd spoke taught different than the prophets of God and the word of God...if this is not true why are Muslims calling the word of God corrupt? The angel that spoke to Muhammad had a new message that was not in agreement with the word of God that was available to Muhamamd.

Eve, I am sorry to say but even a sign or a miracle is nto enough to prove a prophet nor an angel is from God.
A prophet or any messenger of God must be in agreement with God this messenger is required to be in agreement with the word of God and the prophets of God.

Deut.13: 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Muhammad my friend Jesus is the word of God and was in agreement with the word of God. Jesus in Luke quotes the prophet Isaiah and agrees it is him and that he woudl fufill the prophesies of the Messiah who would atone for sin Isaiah 53.

Roshni, Muhammad's prophethood is not determined by the angel he spoke wiht but whether or not Muhammad was in agreement with God and the prophets of God. It is the same test that an angel would have to be tested to see if he was of God. Neither Muhammad nor his angel were in agreement with the word of God. moses in Deuteronomy says a prophet must be ina greement wiht the word of God. Jesus also taught this it is also written in the book of Galations. Muhammad had the wrod of god available to him to test the angel and also he himself is tested by the word of God.

Ahmad according to the God that spoke to Moses we humans discern spirits according to HIS word and any spirit that is not in agreement with HIS word is not from him. Allah says he is the God of Abraham if this is true Allah would follow his own laws and rules. If Allah is God he is all knowing and would be aware of the scriptures and the requirements of a messenger of God.

Muhammad..You have answered many question as to why you believe Muhamamd to be a prophet of God. the word of God does not anopunce the coming of Muhamamd and Muslims do misinterpret these verses, A prophet like Moses definitely does not refer to Muhammad who was not form the brethren of Moses nor was he a learned man and Muhammad did not even believe in the God that Moses speaks to. The Prophet Moses spoke directly to God and the entirety of the Bible is the word of God. The Qu'ran your refer to can not be the word of God according to the God of Abraham that was before Moses. If you open you heart to God's truth and read his true word you will see the problem with Muhammad as a prophet of God that disagrees with God.
You will see a problem wiht Allah being the God of Abrham but disagreeing with the God of Abraham. A prophet must be anounced and God does not anounce a prophet byt eh prophets own word not by corrupt scripture nor does a prophet disagree with God, his word

or his prophets. A prophet is spoke to by God or even an angel of God but this word must agree with God. If the Bible is corrupt there can be no prophet of God as there is no way to confirm the prophet lest God would confim him verbally. Muhamamd remains unaffirmed by the word of God available to his contemporaries. The angel wiht whome Muhamamd speaks was not tested by Muhammad which again makes Muhammad an unlikely prophet who would choose to believe a spirit that could a devil over the words of the prophets and the word of God.
I ask you this Muhamamd if a spirit speaks to you do you accept what this spirit says as the word of God without a way of testing these words?
Did Muhammad test the spirit against the word of God? Would a prophet of God believe any spirit that disagreed with the word of God and the prophets of God? Is there no demons or devils to deceive you?

Muhammad Did Jesus disagree with the word of God? Jesus agreed with the prophets and the available word of God.
This is not about iterpretation of scripture but the actual word of God.

Angel Gabriel of the Koran does not testify about Jesus being the Son of God. He is not in agreement with God or his Prophets before the time of Muhammed. Muslims follow blindly the claim of Muhammed or even his Brother-in-law. Messengers coming from God to bring news to mankind don't make people hide under a blanket or choke them nearly to death. Messengers first words are "Don't be afraid..."

While the Muslim continues to persist in calling the Scripture corrupted, it is these same Scriptures that speak of their prophets, including Jesus. It is also these same Scriptures they use to point to their prophet Mohammed as the fulfillment of Deut.18. If one looks at the testimony of the prophets and God who cannot lie, we find the true witness. In Jn.5:39 Jesus says, “You search the Scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life and these are they that testify of me. Vs.46.“If you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me, but if you do not believe his writings, how will believe my words.” Something to seriously consider.

Both Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the Mount of his transfiguration when Jesus revealed his glory to his closest disciples.(Lk.9:31) Moses, who represented the law, and Elijah, who represented the prophets appeared after their death to those who believed in their writings. Both stood with Jesus discussing His soon coming death and engaging in His high priestly role. They testified, along with the Father of His being God's* Only Son and ultimate revealer of his person. God's glory physically appeared as it did in the Old Testament, and God speaks from heaven declaring out loud Jesus to be His Son, saying, “hear him only.” There is no greater witness than Almighty God. By the testimony of two or more witnesses the truth is established all the law and prophets testify of the Son (Lk.24:47).

The Muslim must deal with the testimony of those that they themselves respect and believe. God cannot lie, he says he has a son who is the final revelator of his person. (Prov.30:4, Ps.2, Isa.9:6, Mic.5:2 Heb.1:2)

Sir, everything is possible..but this is not only the Gibrial who proved Muhammad as a prophet and islam as a religion..! there was much more beyond that...the prophecies and teaching of islam(ofcurse i am talking of the true teachings which "most" of the people don't know ), the hisotry, the spread of islam and much more ! even if you deny the Gibrial part...than too islam can not be denied as a religion and muhammad(pbuh) as a prophet !Muhammad didn't test Gibriel..rather a "christain" had testified that that was an angel and Muhammad was a prophet from God mentioned in bible with the name of Ahmad ! and other prophets also got the revelation from Gibriel..then why questioning Muhammad only? Just becuase he came "after" jesus(pbuh) with the same message and was not a christain? take care !

May peace be with you !

He (saw) went to her wife's uncle, Warqah bin Naufal..
Waraqah bin Naufal was a Christian and used to write in Hebrew letters. The Prophet (saw) described Gabriel (as) to him and he knew that this was the same Gabriel that came to Musa and Isa (pbut)..

There is also a Hadith concerning about it, but it is a weak Hadith because there is an unknown narrator in the chain...
A Muslim can tell between an angel or a demon if he has a strong Faith..

May Allah guide us all..

simply by fact that Christians and Jews are frequently in organization confrontation with Islam on a great selection of subject concerns (became Jesus crucified?, became Issac or Ishmael the favoured son or Abraham?, and so on) is it any marvel that we don't love Islam? I intensely dislike soccer, yet I settle for that a lot of human beings like soccer, and so I tolerate soccer, yet i could in no way assume that individuals could assume I desire to help something I dislike.i don't demean Muslims, only disagree with their determination of religion. that's the internet, did you particularly assume all of us to be civil and respectful? often times all you're able to do is to 'stroll' faraway from such comments, trolls thrive on frightening human beings.

good point-maybe between his 9 year old he met on a swing at that time when he was 40 and married her at that age as recorded in the Islamic Hadeth- he didnt have time or the desire to make sure it wasnt a deamon -As Jesus says that deamons will come as creatures of light

of course he missed the prophecies that Jesus is God Isaiah 9:6 and to die for our sins Isaiah 53

but then again u gotta know Jesus personally to understand=and its time for help from above -read Romans 1 to be thankfull and share the gospel and worship the creator instead of the created-this helped me alot=

the ultimate answer is still the same, its about the one that still loves us unconditionally=

and look up for help from above=In Jesus amazing grace John 3 repented and asked Jesus in my heart to forgive sins and be my friend, amen"
Revelation 3:19&20 as he asks-for the more abundant life=John 10

best wishes and prayer for you my friend

Everything is possible to happen. But now I can be more than sure about the Quran, the last testament, as a complete and comprehensive word of God by its mathematical miracle that no other book in this world has. On the other hand, I believe that Quran is talking to the mind of man, it is realistic and makes sense.

PEACE!
