Then Christians might be named Colinists.

Hymns would have titles as "Colin, joy of man's desiring," "Blessed Assurance, Colin is mine," or "Colin, Colin, Colin! Sweetest name I know. Fills my every longing, Keeps me singing as I go."

Every Christian television program would, by definition become a "Colin" show.

Colin would have become a Hispanic name.

And there would be the inevitable offshoot churches, "The Church of Colin Christ of the Latter Day Saints."

Colin of Nazareth? Colin of Bethlehem? What is Colin translated to Greek. Because as you must know Jesus is the Greek translation of Jeshua the Aramaic, and original name of the Messiah. In English, it is Joshua. More than you wanted to know, eh, mate?

Is Colin a Hebrew name?.

Funny thought.

Actually the correct translation of the Hebrew name Yeshua is Joshua. The name jesus is an incorrect translation.

So you could sing Joshua wants me for a sunbeam, to shine.....
